Meet Dr. Julianne Vesce
Dr. Julianne Vesce is a Board-Qualified Foot and Ankle Surgeon with the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery (ABFAS). She is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care focused on restoring function, relieving pain, and helping patients achieve their personal health and mobility goals.
Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Vesce is excited to return home after completing her medical education and surgical training in Pennsylvania. She earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine and completed a Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency with Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery (PMSR/RRA) at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC). In addition to her residency training, she pursued advanced training certifications in lower-extremity traumatology, foot and ankle arthroscopy, external fixation, and total ankle arthroplasty.
Dr. Vesce has a particular clinical interest in sports medicine and athletic injuries, foot and ankle trauma, reconstructive surgery for complex deformities, bunion correction, management of arthritis, and comprehensive foot and ankle care. She believes that educating patients and involving them in treatment decisions are essential components of providing thoughtful, individualized care. Through shared decision-making, she works collaboratively with each patient to develop treatment plans tailored to their unique goals and lifestyle, helping them return to the activities they value most.
Dr. Vesce is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and has contributed to the podiatric literature through several peer-reviewed publications. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time on LBI with family, attending sporting events, cooking, and traveling.
